IFC 907 915 IPMC 704 Smoke detectors needed in each bedroom and
outside bedrooms. CO detectors needed in vicinity
of the bedrooms.
ALL UNITS NEED.

IPMC 604.3 Electrical system constitutes a hazard to the
occupants since the base board heating units
installed are not wired correctly.A licensed
contractor shall be obtained to do work. Permits and
inspections will be required for this work.
IPMC 605 All receptacles will need covers.All exposed wiring
will need corrected by a licensed contractor.
IPMC 504 Currently no water service to units.Water heater
needs replaced by a licensed contractor licensed to
do work in Waterloo. Permits and inspections are
required.
IPMC 305 Peeling paint will need to be corrected. Floors,
doors, and windows shall be maintained in good,
clean and sanitary condition. Repair all holes in floor
where registers were placed not that the furnace has
been removed.
IPMC 304.13 Replace all broken windows and associated frames
that are broken.Windows are not weather tight.
Install new energy efficient windows in building.
Windows shall be easily openable and capable of
being held in the position by window hardware.
IPMC 304.15 Entrance door to Unit#1 is not installed correctly
and did not have permits for installation. Doors shall
be maintained and installed so door can function
and meet security purposes.
97-4-9-7-5 Units are not registered as rental units with the City
of Waterloo. Get units registered to prevent more
citations being issued.
IPMC 108.1.2 Unsafe equipment in units. Electrical wiring and
heating units are a hazard to the health, life,
property, pubic,and the occupants.
IPMC 108.1.3 Structure is unfit to occupy because the structure is
unsafe, unlawful, or because of the degree to which
the structure is in disrepair or lacks maintenance.
IPMC 108.1.1 Unsafe structure is found to be dangerous to the
occupants of the structure. Remove all occupants
until such time repairs can be made and the building
made safe.
IPMC 304.3 Premises identification is needed on all units.
IPMC 602.2 Heating requirements are not capable to maintain 68
degrees. Cooking appliances shall not be used to
heat units. Heating facilities shall be installed to code
and able to perform their intended function.
IPMC 102.5 Workmanship on water heaters and electric system
shall be executed and installed by licensed
contractors licensed to do work in Waterloo. Permits
and inspections will be required.
All units Required electrical in units,smoke and CO detectors
needed,water service restored. Proper sizing of
water heater to serve all units.
