IFC 907 915 IPMC 704 Smoke detectors needed in each bedroom and one
(1)needed outside of the bedrooms. Smoke
detector is needed in basement. CO detector is
needed in vicinity of the bedrooms.

9-7-49-7-5 Landlord license&Rental Registration needed for
unit. No person shall lease, rent, or otherwise allow a
rental unit within the city to be occupied without first
obtaining or renewing a rental registration permit
from the city and designating a responsible local
agent.All rental units must be registered annually as
required by this chapter.
IPMC 304.15 Exterior screen door is broken.All doors,
assemblies, and hardware shall be maintained in
good condition.
IPMC 603 Stove not in working condition. Replace stove in unit.
IPMC 504 Toilet not secured to floor. Sub floor is water
damaged and needs replaced. Flange on toilet is
rotted and toilet is mounting hardware is bolted
through floor into basement. Remove toilet, replace
floor, and re-set toilet.
IPMC 605 Electric fixture box in basement above furnace/water
heater needs a cover.
IPMC 505.4 Water heater need correct supply lines. Copper pipe
is needed to be attached to top of the water heater
18'inches up off top of water heater. Currently
plastic line is on water heater.
IPMC 305 Kitchen counter top not attached to cabinets.Top is
loose and needs repaired. Interior surfaces shall be
maintained in a good, clean, and safe condition.
IPMC 702 Egress from basement
If rooms in basement are being used for sleeping
purposes then egress windows are required in the
bedrooms.
