IFC 907 915 IPMC 704 Smoke detectors needed in every bedroom. Smoke
detector needed in basement. CO detector needed
in vicinity of the bedrooms.

IPMC 605 Electric outlets and switches need approved covers.
Exposed wires in boxes in basement. Electric panel
missing fuses.
All light fixtures need approved globes.
IFC 605.5 Remove all extension cords.
IPMC 305.6 Interior doors shall fit reasonably well within their
frames. Basement door and door to sitting area
need replaced.
IPMC 504 Pex water lines not installed to code.Water heater
did not have permits and inspections also not
installed to code. New sanitary sewer line installed
does not meet code. No clean out on stack. Contact
a licensed plumber to bring to code.
IPMC 603 Furnace not installed to code. NO permits or
inspections. Gas line has appliance pipe installed
and is not allowed. Licensed contractor needs to
make corrections.
Need to install cover on open duct on chimney.
IPMC 307 Handrails needed to basement.
IPMC 305 Exposed nails on basement stairs walls. Peeling and
abraded paint needs corrected. Potential for lead
based paint in unit with house being built before
1978. Paneling coming loose on walls. Lead
mitigation plan should be in place to remove any
lead based paint in home.
IPMC 906 Updated fire extinguisher needed in unit.
IPMC 301.15 Back door is not installed and maintained in a
weather tight condition.
IPMC 304.13 Windows and frames shall be kept in sound
condition and good repair.Windows shall be capable
to be opened.
IPMC 304.11 Need chimney cap on duct on chimney in basement.
IPMC 102.5 Workmanship repair and maintenance work shall be
done by licensed contractors licensed to do work in
Waterloo.
IRC 105 Permits and inspections needed on unsafe
equipment installed in unit.
IPMC 304.4 Structural members shall be maintained from
deterioration and shall be capable of safely
supporting the imposed loads. Support in basement
is failing.
9-7-6(3) Failure to correct deficiencies of noted violations
shall result in municipal citations being issued and/or
revocation of the renal permit for listed address.
