IFC 907 915 IPMC 704 All smoke detectors need to be in working condition.
Install a CO detector in hallway outside bedrooms.
Smoke detector in basement and bedrooms not
working.

IPMC 304.5 Foundation walls leaking water into basement. Have
walls repaired. Foundation walls shall be maintained
plumb and free from open cracks and breaks.Walls
shall be kept in such condition to prevent the entry
of water and rodents.
Water is potentially coming up from cracks in the
basement floor also. Mold is forming on the walls and
is a health risk for the occupants.
IPMC 504 Water heater is not safe.Water heater draft hood in
not secured to the flue and to the top of the water
heater.Water heater is also missing discharge tube.
Sewer stack in basement is leaking.Toilet is not
secure to the floor and is leaking past the wax ring
into the basement.
Washing machine drain is not hooked up correctly.
Water is being discharged all over basement floor.
IPMC 307 Need a handrail to basement that meets code.
Guards also need installed to prevent someone from
falling into basement from stairs.
IPMC 605 Outlets in basement are not grounded.
Outlet in kitchen is not wired correctly. Hot and
neutral are reversed.
Light in bathroom needs to be hardwired. Bathroom
outlet is also not grounded. Need a GFCI outlet in
wet locations.
Extension cords running from kid room to outlet in
hallway. Install power strip and remove extension
cords.
Contact licensed electrician to correct electrical
corrections. Have electric system checked to ensure
it is safe.
IPMC 305.1.1 Unsafe Conditions Mold on the basement walls caused by the moisture
problems with water getting into basement through
walls and floors.
When mold growth occurs in buildings adverse
health problems may exist for the tenants.With water
exposure in the basement mold spores that are tiny
are allowed to travel through the air through the
ventilation system.
Get a mold remediation plan in place to remove the
mold and cover foundation to prevent molf from
reoccurring.
