Smoke detectors are also needed on each level and in basement. CO detectors are need in vicinity of bedrooms or areas used for sleeping purposes. Violation Comments IFC 605.5 Extension cords are not allowed and need to be removed. IPMC 605 Electrical outlets in kitchen do not work and there are outlets missing covers. Exposed wires in basement need removed or terminated in boxes. GFCI outlets not working. Have electrical contractor check the units service to ensure all is functional. Light switch in basement not secured to code it is just hanging. Outlets not secure in fixtures throughout the house. Porch light on ceiling has exposed wire that needs corrected. All lights will need the proper globes installed on all lights that do not have covers. IPMC 304.15 Side door needs replaced. Doors and assemblies shall be maintained in good condition. IPMC 305 All peeling and abraded paint shall be corrected. All walls shall be maintained in good sanitary condition. Cracked or loose plaster, decayed wood, and other defective conditions shall be corrected. Waling surfaces missing transition strips and floors not maintained in safe and sanitary condition. IPMC 304.13 Every window&frame shall be kept in sound condition,good repair and weather tight.Windows in stairwell and other windows broken. IPMC 403.2 Upstairs bathroom exhaust fan needs replaced. IPMC 305.4 307 Stairs and handrails to basement will need removed and replaced. Stairs are very unsafe. Stairs shall be maintained in sound condition and in good repair. Need handrail installed on stairs to the upstairs. IPMC 504 Need to install a newwater heater. Need to have proper permits and done by licensed contractor. Water heater is leaking out of the base of the water heater. Water is leaking all over basement floor. Serer sanitary stack has been replaced without permits and inspections. Have licensed contractor make corrections to sanitary sewer. IPMC 403.5 Dryer is venting in room and needs to vent to the exterior of the house.
