Smoke detectors are needed in each bedroom and
outside of the bedrooms. CO detector is needed
outside of the bedrooms.

Water heater is not installed to code. Supply lines
not installed to code and draft hood in not installed
and secured to top of water heater. Mid American
has tagged water heater and gas in shut off for the
safety of the occupants. Have a licensed contractor
check water heater to ensure it is functioning per
manufacturers specifications and installed to code.
IPMC 605 220 V dryer electric fixture is broken and needs
replaced.
220 V electric fixture to stove is broken and needs
replaced.
Outlets not secured in the electrical fixtures.

Windows shall be kept in sound condition and good
repair and weather tight. All windows shall be easily
openable and capable of being held in the position

IPMC 603 Furnace duct system is not attached to furnace to
code. Have licensed mechanical contractor ensure
furnace is installed to meet code.
Need to install a new thermostat for furnace.
IPMC 504 Install new toilet in bathroom Toilet is not maintained
in good condition. Toilet also leaks and is causing
damage to floor.

Exterior treatment shall be protected from the
elements and decay by a protective covering. House
will need painted or install siding.
Rear door trim is missing and window trim is rotten in
some windows that need replaced.
IPMC 108.1.2 Unsafe equipment on premises that need corrected.
Hazards exist to the occupants.
IPMC 108.1.3 Structure unfit to occupy. Structure is unsafe
because of the degree to which the structure is in
disrepair and lacks maintenance.
