Smoke detectors are needed in the bedrooms and
out outside of the bedrooms. CO detectors are
needed in vicinity of the bedrooms.

Need a landing on each side of the exterior door to
the unit. Currently just concrete stairs leading to
upper unit. Landings require on both sides of every
egress door are required.
Stairs shall be maintained in sound condition and
good repair. Transition strips are coming off risers.
Floor at Apartment door is not maintained in good
condition.
IPMC 605 GFCI outlet in kitchen in not working. Receptacle is
not installed with correct faceplate and not secured
in fixture box.
Light in living room runs on switch that turns on
entryway light. Need to separate and both lights
need separate switch.
IRC R311 Egress doors shall be required to have a landing on
each side of the door at least 36" inches.
IPMC 304.18.2
All windows located in unit shall be equipped with a
locking device. Currently no locks are located on
windows.
IPMC 305 All peeling and abraded paint needs corrected.
Remove all flaking paint and repaint.
IPMC 304.15
All doors shall have approved locking devices
installed on doors. All hardware shall be maintained
in good condition. Jams and assemblies currently
broken and no latches or throws installed in jams.
IPMC 304.12 Handrail loose and needs repaired.
IPMC 304.7
Gutters and sofit area needs maintenance. Gutters
fallen off the house and sofit area is rotten. Areas
need to be maintained in good condition.
IPMC 504 Sink in kitchen not working. Faucet continues to run
and will not shut off.
