CO detector is also needed installed. Violation Comments IPMC 602 Heating facilities not working in unit. Unit is being heating with space heaters. Space heaters not allowed. IPMC 305 Peeling paint needs corrected. Mold present on ceiling in living room needs mitigated. Find water leak and repair. DO NOT just cover up with paint. Bedroom ceiling and walls needs repaired from water damage and abraded paint. Tile around tub needs replaced. Missing tiles and sharp edges. IPMC 304.13 Every window shall be kept in sound condition, good repair,and weather tight. IPMC 605 Outlets need changer since a lot of them have been damaged from sparking. IPMC 603 Stove in unit not working and Mid-American has red tagged stove. Change out stove for a stove that is in working condition. IFC 605.5 Extension cords in use for stove.Appliances need direct connection. IPMC 304.3 Premises Identification is needed on apartment door. IPMC 108.1.3 Unit is unfit to occupy. Potential hazards exist and are unsafe to occupants. IPMC 102.5 Repairs, maintenance work,alterations shall be executed and installed in a workmanlike manner and installed in accordance with the code. Common Areas IPMC 304.13 Broken windows throughout building need repaired. All broken glass needs repaired in doorways.All units will need to meet occupancy standards. IPMC 305 All holes will need repaired throughout building. Peeling paint will need corrected throughout building. IFC 907 915 IPMC 704 Smoke detectors not working in common areas. IFC 906 Update all fire extinguishers and replace missing fire extinguishers. IPMC 504 Water heaters shall be properly installed and maintained in working order.Water heaters are leaking and are missing discharge tubes. Contact licensed contractor to replace water heaters. Large leak in plumbing system in basement that will need corrected by licensed contractor. IPMC 605 Outlets in basement not grounded. Electric hazards exist in basement from over a year ago that have NOT been corrected yet. IPMC 402.2 Lights in the egress path in common hallways and stairways will need at least a 60 watt bulb installed to light up top and bottom of stairs. Violation Comments IPMC 108.1.3 This building is unfit for human occupancy because it is unsafe because of the hazards that exist. Corrections need to be made in a timely manner or the occupancy permits will be revoked. IPMC 104.2 Inspections will occur in 30 days and failure to comply fees will be assessed for non-compliance.
