9-7-49-7-5 2017 landlord license and rental registration needed
for all rental units.

IFC 907 915 IMPC 704 Smoke detectors needed in bedroom and outside of
the bedroom. CO detector needed in vicinity of
bedroom.
IPMC 309 Bed bug infestation in both units. Contact a pest
control agency to exterminate the infestation.
IPMC 605 Remove all extension cords. Power strips can be
used but cords are not allowed.
Track lighting needs to be hardwired.
Remove all multiple adapters used in outlets they
are not allowed.
IPMC 305 Translation strips needed between flooring in unit.
Carpet is a trip hazard from kitchen to living room.
IPMC 304.10 Front stairs unsafe bottom step rise is over the
allowed rise per code. Landing is broken, crumbled,
and sinking causing steps to be out of code.
IPMC 702 Egress path out of bedroom needs an unobstructed
path. Back door out of building is blocked and needs
to be an unobstructed path there also.
IPMC 504 Need 3 ft clearance around water heater. Remove
items stored on and around water heater.
IPMC 404.7 Food preparation area shall contain suitable space
and equipment for sanitary purposes. Lights under
cabinets are not approved for this area. Fluorescent
bulbs can break above stove and sink.
IPMC 605.3 Luminaries shall be in kitchen adequate to provide
proper light.
