Single family dwelling being used as a rooming
house. Property does not have a special permit for
operating a this type of a residence.

Smoke detectors not installed to code throughout
the building.
Smoke detector beeping upstairs hallway needing
possible battery change.
Bedbugs in unit and throughout building. Need an
approved pest control plan for the removal of the
infestation.
IPMC 605 Electrical issues throughout with breakers blowing
because of overloading of outlets.
Outlet in the common bathroom upstairs is not
working.
All lights throughout the building will need globes on
all fixtures. Cords/cables running through
doors upstairs.
Entryway to upstairs there is a switch that is missing
a cover. All outlets and switches need covers.
Tenants do not have access to basement to re -set
breakers.

needs to be continuous and coverage area to cover
all stairs.
All windows shall be kept in sound condition and
good repair. Screens that are in place shall be in
good condition and sound condition.
The owner -occupant of the premises shall not allow
the building to be occupied that any portion of the
building does not comply with the requirements of
the IPMC.
Bathroom exhaust fan in upstairs bathroom does not
work.
Unit is not registered as a rental unit and not an
approved rooming house per the zoning regulations.
There is not an approved food preparation area
suitable to cook meals for upper units.
