RESOLUTION NO. 2007-271
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
_ BENTLEY CONSTRUCTION, INC. OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
FOR THE F. Y. 2007 SIDEWALK REPAIR PROGRAM -
s _ ZONE 7 AND TRAIL REPAIRS, CONTRACT NO. 723,
IN THE AMOUNT OF $74, 806. 84 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Bentley Construction, Inc. of Waterloo,
in the amount of $74, 806. 84, for the construction of the
2007 Sidewalk Repair Program - Zone 7 and Trail Repairs,
Contract No. 723, described in the plans and specifications
th4jr-'tofore adopted by this Council for said project, after public
4 ing on published notice required by law, be and is hereby
acc-,,-pted, the same being the lowest bid received for said work.
x - The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
�cc#�e,ract with the said contractor for the construction of said
ainprovements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
'moved by this Council .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of April, 2007 .
