RESOLUTION NO. 2020-504
RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
JULY 27, 2020, TO APPROVE A REQUEST BY THE CITY OF
WATERLOO TO VACATE A 20 FOOT -WIDE SANITARY
SEWER EASEMENT, WHICH CONSISTS OF 1.4 ACRES,
LOCATED SOUTH OF 4550 HESS ROAD, AND RESCINDING
ORDINANCE NO. 5545, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 27th day of July 2020,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon the request of the City of Waterloo to vacate a 20
foot -wide sanitary sewer easement consisting of 1.4 acres, located south of 4550 Hess Road.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of July 2020.
