RESOLUTION NO. 2020-509
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO
LANDMARK TURF SERVICES, LLC, OF DUNKERTON,
IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $45,874, AND APPROVING THE
CONTRACT, BONDS, AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE,
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2021 LEVEE RIP RAP
SPRAYING PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 1027, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Landmark Turf Services, LLC, of Dunkerton, Iowa, submitted a bid in the
amount of $45,874, in conjunction with the FY 2021 Levee Rip Rap Spraying Project, Contract
No. 1027, and is the apparent low bidder, and
WHEREAS, Landmark Turf Services, LLC, submitted a written contract, bond and
certificate of insurance, per the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project
with Resolution No. 2020-495, after public hearing on June 29, 2020, in conjunction with the
FY 2021 Levee Rip Rap Spraying Project, Contract No. 1027.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Landmark Turf Services, LLC, in the amount of $45,874, in conjunction
with the FY 2021 Levee Rip Rap Spraying Project, Contract No. 1027, is hereby awarded
to Landmark Turf Services, LLC.
2. That the contract, bond and certificate of insurance submitted by Landmark Turf Services,
LLC, in conjunction with the FY 2021 Levee Rip Rap Spraying Project, Contract No.
1027, are hereby approved.
That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf
of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of July 2020.
