Obstructions shall not be placed in the minimum width or required capacity of a means of egress component except projections permitted by this chapter. The minimum width or required capacity of a means of egress system shall not be diminished along the path of egress travel. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: FAIL 110.1.1 - Unsafe conditions Structures or existing equipment that are or hereafter become unsafe or deficient because of inadequate means of egress or which constitute a fire hazard, or are otherwise dangerous to human life or the public welfare, or which involve illegal or improper occupancy or inadequate maintenance, shall be deemed an unsafe condition. A vacant structure that is not secured against unauthorized entry as required by Section 311 shall be deemed unsafe. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Plumbing leak FAIL 2305.5 - Fire extinguishers Approved portable fire extinguishers complying with Section 906 with a minimum rating of 2-A: 20-B: C shall be provided and located such that an extinguisher is not more than 75 feet (22,860 mm)from pumps, dispensers or storage tank fill-pipe openings.
