Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: CO detectors needed to be in working condition. FAIL 605.1 - Abatement of electrical hazards Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the responsible code official. Electrical wiring, devices, appliances and other equipment that is modified or damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: All switches and outlets need covers. Basement switch needs cover. Light to basement hanging by wires. Opens/exposed wires on wall to basement. FAIL 907.2.11 - Single- and multiple-station smoke alarms Listed single- and multiple- station smoke alarms complying with UL 217 shall be installed in accordance with Sections 907.2.11.1 through 907.2.11.6 and NFPA 72. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Smoke detectors needed in each bedroom and outside of the bedrooms. Smoke also needed in basement. FAIL 915.4 - Carbon monoxide alarms Carbon monoxide alarms shall comply with Sections 915.4.1 through 915.4.3. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: FAIL R1 - Unsafe Structures Is the structure found to be dangerous to the life, health, property or safety of either the public or occupants of the structure? (IPMC 108.1.1) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Electric hazards. Equipment may include boilers, heating equipment, elevator, moving stairways, electrical wiring, and flammable liquid containers. (IPMC 108.1.2) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Back deck and stairs. Repair/replace all broken windows. Broken glass is exposed in bedrooms. Mold exposure in main level bathroom. Potential mold growth in wet areas. Mitigate mold in bathroom. Wet stain on stairwell wood. FAIL R5 - Exterior Structure Is the exterior of the structure maintained in good repair, structurally sound and sanitary state? (IPMC 304) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Roof and sofit damaged by tree that fell onto house. Roof and sofit needs repaired. FAIL R6 - Interior Structure Has the interior of the structure and equipment inside been maintained in good repair, structurally sound, and in a sanitary condition? (IPMC 305) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Side door missing trim. Interior doors shall be capable of closing and latching. Door hardware on all doors shall be capable of preforming their intended function. Bedroom wall cracked and moved from a fallen tree striking the house. Water is coming in crack. Broken windows in bedrooms shall be replaced/repaired. Repair all holes in basement floor. Upstairs toilet is plugged and needs re-set on floor. Back deck and stairs need replaced/repaired. Missing drawer fronts on kitchen cabinets. Handrails missing to basement. Back door threshold is rotten and needs replaced. Back door and all doors shall be capable of preforming their intended function by closing and latching. FAIL R6.A. - Interior Structure- Unsafe Conditions Were any unsafe conditions noted during the interior inspection?(IPMC 305.1.1) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Exposed wires and electrical hazards. Plumbing not working and toilet not functioning. FAIL R6.C. - Mechanical Eqiupment Are mechanical appliances properly installed and maintained in good working condition? (IPMC 603.1) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Water heater installed with no permits or inspections. Dryer is exhausting into basement and needs to exhaust to the outside.
