Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Front egress door does not function and is locked and will not open. Front door need to be operational ASAP. FAIL 1031.2 - Reliability Required exit accesses, exits and exit discharges shall be continuously maintained free from obstructions or impediments to full instant use in the case of fire or other emergency where the building area served by the means of egress is occupied. An exit or exit passageway shall not be used for any purpose that interferes with a means of egress. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Obstructions in egress path outside apartments on 2nd level. FAIL 2305.5 - Fire extinguishers Approved portable fire extinguishers complying with Section 906 with a minimum rating of 2-A: 20-B: C shall be provided and located such that an extinguisher is not more than 75 feet (22,860 mm)from pumps, dispensers or storage tank fill-pipe openings. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Need updated fire extinguishers in building. Last inspected/maintenance was 03/2019. FAIL 506.1 - Where required Where access to or within a structure or an area is restricted because of secured openings or where immediate access is necessary for life-saving or fire-fighting purposes, the fire code official is authorized to require a key box to be installed in an approved location. The key box shall be of an approved type listed in accordance with UL 1037, and shall contain keys to gain necessary access as required by the fire code official. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: KNOX BOX still NOT in place on secured multi unit buildings. 3200 Series boxes are needed to be installed. Identified hazardous electrical conditions in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the responsible code official. Electrical wiring, devices, appliances and other equipment that is modified or damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Light fixtures in unit # F need globes on fixtures. FAIL 901.6.1 - Standards Fire protection systems shall be inspected, tested and maintained in accordance with the referenced standards listed in Table . Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Need alarm testing and maintenance records for building. Building has audible alarm installed in building. FAIL R6 - Interior Structure Has the interior of the structure and equipment inside been maintained in good repair, structurally sound, and in a sanitary condition? (IPMC 305) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Floor at rear egress door needs replaced. Floor not capable of supporting imposed loads. Holes in walls in unit # F and peeling paint present. Entrance door to Unit # F does not fit in jamb and locks do not match up with door mechanism. Security needs to be maintained and door hardware needs to be maintained in good condition. No lock plates are installed on jambs. Screen damaged in unit. Holes in wall in bathroom behind mirror need repaired. Bath floor in unit # F has water damage and needs replaced also sub floor may need attention. No tub seal is installed on tub. FAIL R6.C. - Mechanical Eqiupment Are mechanical appliances properly installed and maintained in good working condition? (IPMC 603.1) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Cold air return register is not secured to wall.
