FAIL 1010.1.9 - Door operations Except as specifically permitted by this section, egress doors shall be readily
openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or
effort.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Front egress door does not function and is
locked. Door needs to be operational ASAP
FAIL 1031.2 - Reliability Required exit accesses, exits and exit discharges shall be continuously maintained
free from obstructions or impediments to full instant use in the case of fire or other
emergency where the building area served by the means of egress is occupied. An
exit or exit passageway shall not be used for any purpose that interferes with a
means of egress.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Obstructions in egress path outside
apartments on 2nd floor.
FAIL 2305.5 - Fire extinguishers Approved portable fire extinguishers complying with Section 906 with a minimum
rating of 2-A: 20-B: C shall be provided and located such that an extinguisher is not
more than 75 feet (22,860 mm)from pumps, dispensers or storage tank fill-pipe
openings.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Updated fire extinguishers needed in
building.
FAIL 506.1 - Where required Where access to or within a structure or an area is restricted because of secured
openings or where immediate access is necessary for life-saving or fire-fighting
purposes, the fire code official is authorized to require a key box to be installed in an
approved location. The key box shall be of an approved type listed in accordance with
UL 1037, and shall contain keys to gain necessary access as required by the fire code
official.

FAIL 605.1 - Abatement of
electrical hazards
Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions
in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the responsible code official.
Electrical wiring, devices, appliances and other equipment that is modified or
damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Unit # F need globes on light fixtures.
FAIL 901.6.1 - Standards Fire protection systems shall be inspected, tested and maintained in accordance with
the referenced standards listed in Table .
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Alarm testing not received for audible
alarm installed in building.
FAIL R6 - Interior Structure Has the interior of the structure and equipment inside been maintained in good
repair, structurally sound, and in a sanitary condition? (IPMC 305)
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Floor at rear egress door needs replaced.
Floor not capable of supporting imposed loads. Holes in walls in unit # F and peeling
paint need corrected. Entrance door to init # F does not fit in jamb and locks do not
match up with door mechanism. Home in wall behind mirror in bathroom unit # F.
Bathroom floor in unit # F has water damage and sub-floor may need attention. No
tub seal on tub.
FAIL R6.C. - Mechanical Eqiupment Are mechanical appliances properly installed and maintained in good working
condition? (IPMC 603.1)
