Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Front door hardware needs to be maintained in good condition. Deadbolt lock not set in door as specified. FAIL 605.1 - Abatement of electrical hazards Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the responsible code official. Electrical wiring, devices, appliances and other equipment that is modified or damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Electric outlet in living room is not working. FAIL 907.2.11 - Single- and multiple-station smoke alarms Listed single- and multiple- station smoke alarms complying with UL 217 shall be installed in accordance with Sections 907.2.11.1 through 907.2.11.6 and NFPA 72. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Smoke detectors needed hallway and basement. FAIL R2 - Unsafe Equipment Was the presence of unsafe equipment noted during the inspection? Equipment may include boilers, heating equipment, elevator, moving stairways, electrical wiring, and flammable liquid containers. (IPMC 108.1.2) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Process Ventilation: Where injurious, toxic, irritating or noxious fumes, gases, dusts or mists are generated and exhaust system shall be provided to remove the contamination agent at the source. IPMC 403.4 FAIL R5 - Exterior Structure Is the exterior of the structure maintained in good repair, structurally sound and sanitary state? (IPMC 304) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Downspouts not in place. FAIL R6 - Interior Structure Has the interior of the structure and equipment inside been maintained in good repair, structurally sound, and in a sanitary condition? Holes in walls need repaired. Ceiling in bathroom needs repaired. Foundation in areas is wet and water is coming in. Stair tread / risers loose. Handrails needed to be secured on wall to basement. FAIL R6.B. - Residential Heating Are dwellings provided with heating facilities capable of maintaining a room temperature of 68F? (IPMC 602.2) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Furnace needs cold air registers cleaned and furnace filter changed. Duct systems shall be maintained free of obstructions and debris and be capable of performing the required function. IPMC 607.1 FAIL R6.C. - Mechanical Eqiupment Are mechanical appliances properly installed and maintained in good working condition? (IPMC 603.1) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Richmond water heater installed possibly back in 2012 was installed without permits & inspections. GENERAL NOTES BARRY STRATTON - 10/31/2019 @ 14:37 Doors shall be maintained weather tight and hardware maintained so door will lock. IPMC 304.15 BARRY STRATTON - 10/31/2019 @ 14:41 Gutters / downspouts not in place to drain water away from house. Potential for wet basement.
