Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: All doors shall function as intended. FAIL 1103.9 - Carbon monoxide alarms Existing Group I-1, I-2, I-4 and R occupancies shall be equipped with carbon monoxide alarms in accordance with Section 915, except that the carbon monoxide alarms shall be allowed to be solely battery operated. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: FAIL 605.1 - Abatement of electrical hazards Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the responsible code official. Electrical wiring, devices, appliances and other equipment that is modified or damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Electric outlet in upstairs bedroom is wired wrong---hot/neutral is reversed. Light fixtures shall have proper globes on lights. FAIL 907.2.11 - Single- and multiple-station smoke alarms Listed single- and multiple- station smoke alarms complying with UL 217 shall be installed in accordance with Sections 907.2.11.1 through 907.2.11.6 and NFPA 72. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Smoke detectors needed in each bedroom and 1 outside of the bedrooms. Smoke detector on every level and in basement. FAIL 915.4 - Carbon monoxide alarms Carbon monoxide alarms shall comply with Sections 915.4.1 through 915.4.3. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: CO detectors needed in vicinity of the bedrooms. FAIL R1 - Unsafe Structures Is the structure found to be dangerous to the life, health, property or safety of either the public or occupants of the structure? (IPMC 108.1.1) Printed on 07/24/2020 @ 14:59 Page 1 of 3 STATUS CODE DESCRIPTION Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Electric, plumbing, doors, flooring, handrails, leaks in basement all need repaired. FAIL R2 - Unsafe Equipment Was the presence of unsafe equipment noted during the inspection? Equipment may include boilers, heating equipment, elevator, moving stairways, electrical wiring, and flammable liquid containers. (IPMC 108.1.2) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Sewer stack needs installed to meet code. Currently plastic in place in between cast pipe. Windows shall be maintained in good condition. Windows need to open and close and not be painted shut. FAIL R5 - Exterior Structure Is the exterior of the structure maintained in good repair, structurally sound and sanitary state? (IPMC 304) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Garage need garage door replaced and maintained in good condition. FAIL R6 - Interior Structure Has the interior of the structure and equipment inside been maintained in good repair, structurally sound, and in a sanitary condition? (IPMC 305) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Entryway ceiling needs repaired. Kitchen floor needs replaced. Kitchen cabinets shall be maintained. Cabinets need drawers and drawer fronts. Peeling paint shall be corrected. All windows shall be capable of opening and closing. All windows shall have proper screens. Screens shall be maintained in good condition. All doors and jambs shall be maintained in good condition. Interior doors also shall be maintained. Basement door needs replaced. Front & rear doors shall be maintained jambs broken and weatherization broken. Carpet on stairs needs to be replaced. Holes in walls needs repaired. Floors in bathrooms needs replaced. Porch ceiling needs replaced. Floor at base of stairs has holes and floor needs replaced. handrails need to be in place on all stairs. Upstairs and basement needs handrails. FAIL R6.A. - Interior Structure- Unsafe Conditions Were any unsafe conditions noted during the interior inspection?(IPMC 305.1.1) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Plumbing fixtures in both bathrooms need replaced. Plumbing fixtures shall be maintained. Bath shower leaks and bathtub leaks into the lower level. Both faucet valves need replaced on all fixtures. FAIL R6.C. - Mechanical Eqiupment Are mechanical appliances properly installed and maintained in good working condition? (IPMC 603.1) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Water heater missing cover. All register covers need to be in place and maintained in good condition.
