Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: FAIL 605.1 - Abatement of electrical hazards Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the responsible code official. Electrical wiring, devices, appliances and other equipment that is modified or damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Need approved outlet covers installed on all missing outlets. FAIL 906.1 - Where required Portable fire extinguishers shall be installed in all of the following locations: 1. In new and existing Group A, B, E, F, H, I, M, R-1, R-2, R-4 and S occupancies. Exception: In Group R-2 occupancies, portable fire extinguishers shall be required only in locations specified in Items 2 through 6 where each dwelling unit is provided with a portable fire extinguisher having a minimum rating of 1-A: 10-B: C. 2. Within 30 feet (9144 mm) of commercial cooking equipment. 3. In areas where flammable or combustible liquids are stored, used or dispensed. 4. On each floor of structures under construction, except Group R-3 occupancies, in accordance with Section 3315.1. 5. Where required by the sections indicated in Table 906.1. 6. Special-hazard areas, including but not limited to laboratories, computer rooms and generator rooms, where required by the fire code official. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: FAIL 907.2.11 - Single- and multiple-station smoke alarms Listed single- and multiple- station smoke alarms complying with UL 217 shall be installed in accordance with Sections 907.2.11.1 through 907.2.11.6 and NFPA 72. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Smoke detectors missing in house. Need detectors in each bedroom, outside bedrooms, and in basement. This includes grading and drainage, sidewalks and driveways, weeds, and pest infestations. (IPMC 302) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Holes in ground from rodents. Roof needs replaced. Gutters installed to direct water away from foundation. FAIL R5 - Exterior Structure Is the exterior of the structure maintained in good repair, structurally sound and sanitary state? (IPMC 304) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Water getting into basement. FAIL R6 - Interior Structure Has the interior of the structure and equipment inside been maintained in good repair, structurally sound, and in a sanitary condition? (IPMC 305) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Handrails needed on all stairs upstairs and downstairs. Kitchen drawer fronts needed that are missing. Drawers need to be functional. Front door jamb is in need of repair. Jamb and door hardware needs to be working condition so door is capable of closing and latching. Doors need to be weather tight. Roof will need to be shingles. Interior ceiling need repaired that have water damage. Dining room ceiling needs repaired. Ceiling inside kitchen cabinets needs repaired. Tub surround needs replaced. FAIL R6.B. - Residential Heating Are dwellings provided with heating facilities capable of maintaining a room temperature of 68F? (IPMC 602.2) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Furnace gas pipe will need to be hard black gas pipe. No flex pipe is allowed. Licensed contractor shall be capable of installed new gas pipe. Duct work for furnace shall be installed that is hanging in basement. FAIL R6.D. - Receptacles Every habitable space in a dwelling shall contain not less than two separate and remote receptacle outlets. Every laundry area shall contain not less than one grounding-type receptacle or a receptacle with a GFCI. Every bathroom shall contain not less than one receptacle. Any new bathroom receptacle shall have GFCI protection. All receptacles shall have the appropriate faceplate cover. (IPMC 605.2) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Need outlet covers.
