FAIL 1010.1.9 - Door operations Except as specifically permitted by this section, egress doors shall be readily
openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or
effort.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: All doors shall be maintained weather tight
and in good operating condition.
FAIL 5808.3.2 - Windows Operable windows in interior walls shall not be permitted. Fixed windows shall be
permitted where in accordance with Section 716 of the International Building Code.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Broken windows shall be repaired.
FAIL 605.1 - Abatement of
electrical hazards
Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions
in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the responsible code official.
Electrical wiring, devices, appliances and other equipment that is modified or
damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: All open electric boxes shall have approved
covers.
FAIL 907.2.11 - Single- and
multiple-station smoke
alarms
Listed single- and multiple- station smoke alarms complying with UL 217 shall be
installed in accordance with Sections 907.2.11.1 through 907.2.11.6 and NFPA 72.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Smoke detectors shall be installed to meet
code requirements.

the public or occupants of the structure? (IPMC 108.1.1)
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Sewer gas smell in basement. Drain cap on
basement drain.

basement drain.

steps repairs not done with treated wood.

FAIL R6 - Interior Structure Has the interior of the structure and equipment inside been maintained in good
repair, structurally sound, and in a sanitary condition? (IPMC 305)
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Cracked paint, kitchen floors and floors
throughout house not maintained, carpet, transition strips, kitchen counters,
exposed nails, kitchen cabinets all need attention.

Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Stairs to basement have loose treads.
FAIL R6.C. - Mechanical Eqiupment Are mechanical appliances properly installed and maintained in good working
condition? (IPMC 603.1)
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Drain pipe to sewer stack need repaired
and toilet is leaking at base possible wax ring needs replaced.
