Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: All doors shall be maintained weather tight and in good operating condition. FAIL 5808.3.2 - Windows Operable windows in interior walls shall not be permitted. Fixed windows shall be permitted where in accordance with Section 716 of the International Building Code. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Broken windows shall be repaired. FAIL 605.1 - Abatement of electrical hazards Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the responsible code official. Electrical wiring, devices, appliances and other equipment that is modified or damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used. FAIL 907.2.11 - Single- and multiple-station smoke alarms Listed single- and multiple- station smoke alarms complying with UL 217 shall be installed in accordance with Sections 907.2.11.1 through 907.2.11.6 and NFPA 72. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Smoke detectors shall be installed to meet code requirements. FAIL R1 - Unsafe Structures Is the structure found to be dangerous to the life, health, property or safety of either the public or occupants of the structure? This includes grading and drainage, sidewalks and driveways, weeds, and pest infestations. (IPMC 302) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Front and rear stairs not to code. Rear steps repairs not done with treated wood. FAIL R5 - Exterior Structure Is the exterior of the structure maintained in good repair, structurally sound and sanitary state? (IPMC 304) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: FAIL R6 - Interior Structure Has the interior of the structure and equipment inside been maintained in good repair, structurally sound, and in a sanitary condition? (IPMC 305) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Cracked paint, kitchen floors and floors throughout house not maintained, carpet, transition strips, kitchen counters, exposed nails, kitchen cabinets all need attention. FAIL R6.A. - Interior Structure- Unsafe Conditions Were any unsafe conditions noted during the interior inspection?(IPMC 305.1.1) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Stairs to basement have loose treads. FAIL R6.C. - Mechanical Eqiupment Are mechanical appliances properly installed and maintained in good working condition? (IPMC 603.1) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Drain pipe to sewer stack need repaired and toilet is leaking at base possible wax ring needs replaced.
