FAIL 1008.1 - Means of egress
illumination
Illumination shall be provided in the means of egress in accordance with Section
1008.2. Under emergency power, means of egress illumination shall comply with
Section 1008.3.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: All egress lights not working need
maintenance
FAIL 1010.1.9 - Door operations Except as specifically permitted by this section, egress doors shall be readily
openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or
effort.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: All egress doors need maintenance. Brock
advised owner of items on his report.
FAIL 901.6 - Inspection, testing and
maintenance
Fire detection, alarm, and extinguishing systems, mechanical smoke exhaust
systems, and smoke and heat vents shall be maintained in an operative condition at
all times, and shall be replaced or repaired where defective. Nonrequired fire
protection systems and equipment shall be inspected, tested and maintained or
removed.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Sprinkler & Alarm report sent to Brock.
Egress lights need maintenance.
FAIL 903.3.1.1 - NFPA 13 sprinkler
systems
Where the provisions of this code require that a building or portion thereof be
equipped throughout with an automatic sprinkler system in accordance with this
section, sprinklers shall be installed throughout in accordance with NFPA 13 except
as provided in Sections 903.3.1.1.1 and 903.3.1.1.2.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Sprinkler heads have paint on them that
need maintenance by company doing work.
FAIL R6 - Interior Structure Has the interior of the structure and equipment inside been maintained in good
repair, structurally sound, and in a sanitary condition? (IPMC 305)

STATUS CODE DESCRIPTION
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Sanitary efforts door trim, bath floor,
kitchen cabinets, holes in walls, paint on sprinkler heads, egress path all need
maintenance. Unit # 102 Medicine cabinet in unit # 203 needs replaced. 2nd floor
glass above door way needs replaced. Unit #304 Peeling paint, back bedroom ceiling,
carpet, door trim, smoke detector taped off, ceiling in living room all items need
maintenance.
