FAIL 1014.1 - Where required Handrails serving stairways, ramps, stepped aisles and ramped aisles shall be
adequate in strength and attachment in accordance with Section 1607.8 of the
International Building Code. Handrails required for stairways by Section 1011.11 shall
comply with Sections 1014.2 through 1014. 9. Handrails required for ramps by
Section 1012.8 shall comply with Sections 1014.2 through 1014. 8. Handrails for
stepped aisles and ramped aisles required by Section 1029.15 shall comply with
Sections 1014.2 through 1014.8.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: No handrails on stairs going from 1st floor
to upper levels from maintenance elevator.
FAIL 907.2.11 - Single- and
multiple-station smoke
alarms
Listed single- and multiple- station smoke alarms complying with UL 217 shall be
installed in accordance with Sections 907.2.11.1 through 907.2.11.6 and NFPA 72.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Unit 305 Missing smoke detector in
bedroom.
FAIL R6 - Interior Structure Has the interior of the structure and equipment inside been maintained in good
repair, structurally sound, and in a sanitary condition? (IPMC 305)
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Unit 305 Bedbug infestation in unit.
Remove furniture/bedding or treat. Bedding material & clothing needs
cleaned/washed to remove bedbug infestation. General sanitary efforts needed to
clean apartment.
