STATUS CODE DESCRIPTION
FAIL 505.1 - Address identification New and existing buildings shall be provided with approved address identification.
The address identification shall be legible and placed in a position that is visible from
the street or road fronting the property. Address identification characters shall
contrast with their background. Address numbers shall be Arabic numbers or
alphabetical letters. Numbers shall not be spelled out. Each character shall be not
less than 4 inches (102 mm) high with a minimum stroke width of 1/2 (12.7 mm).
Where required by the fire code official, address identification shall be provided in
additional approved locations to facilitate emergency response. Where access is by
means of a private road and the building cannot be viewed from the public way, a
monument, pole or other sign or means shall be used to identify the structure.
Address identification shall be maintained.

FAIL 605.1 - Abatement of
electrical hazards
Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions
in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the responsible code official.
Electrical wiring, devices, appliances and other equipment that is modified or
damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Electrical wire on basement bathroom light
needs removed or hardwired into switch. Grounding strap on water meter needs
secured in approved grounding connectors to water meter.
FAIL 907.2.11 - Single- and
multiple-station smoke
alarms
Listed single- and multiple- station smoke alarms complying with UL 217 shall be
installed in accordance with Sections 907.2.11.1 through 907.2.11.6 and NFPA 72.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Need smoke detectors in bedroom and
outside bedroom.
FAIL R6.C. - Mechanical Eqiupment Are mechanical appliances properly installed and maintained in good working
condition? (IPMC 603.1)
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Need access to water heater. Currently
water heater is behind a wall and you can not access water heater. Need 30 inches
access to all areas around water heater.
