FAIL 1103.9 - Carbon monoxide
alarms
Existing Group I-1, I-2, I-4 and R occupancies shall be equipped with carbon monoxide
alarms in accordance with Section 915, except that the carbon monoxide alarms shall
be allowed to be solely battery operated.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: CO detector is needed in vicinity of the
bedrooms.
FAIL 605.1 - Abatement of
electrical hazards
Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions
in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the responsible code official.
Electrical wiring, devices, appliances and other equipment that is modified or
damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: All light fixtures need globes.
FAIL 907.2.11 - Single- and
multiple-station smoke
alarms
Listed single- and multiple- station smoke alarms complying with UL 217 shall be
installed in accordance with Sections 907.2.11.1 through 907.2.11.6 and NFPA 72.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Smoke detectors need to be in working
condition.
FAIL 915.5 - Carbon monoxide
detection systems
Carbon monoxide detection systems shall be an acceptable alternative to carbon
monoxide alarms and shall comply with Sections 915.5.1 through 915.5.3.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments:
FAIL R6 - Interior Structure Has the interior of the structure and equipment inside been maintained in good
repair, structurally sound, and in a sanitary condition? (IPMC 305)
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Peeling paint needs corrected. Sanitary
efforts need improved. Broken window needs repaired. Kitchen cabinets need
repaired. Carpet; in hallway has rip that needs repaired.
