Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Front door jamb not secured to house. Door hardware needs work at lock plates. Back door strike plates do not match up and door will not secure. Door shall fit reasonably in their openings and capable of preforming their intended function. FAIL 605.1 - Abatement of electrical hazards Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the responsible code official. Electrical wiring, devices, appliances and other equipment that is modified or damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Outlets not grounded in living room and kitchen. FAIL R2 - Unsafe Equipment Was the presence of unsafe equipment noted during the inspection? Equipment may include boilers, heating equipment, elevator, moving stairways, electrical wiring, and flammable liquid containers. (IPMC 108.1.2) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Water heater needs discharge tube. No permit and no inspections for water heater installed in 2018. Electric outlets in house have bad grounds. Living room kitchen outlets wired wrong. FAIL R4 - Exterior Property Areas Is the exterior property area maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition? This includes grading and drainage, sidewalks and driveways, weeds, and pest infestations. (IPMC 302) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Drainage into basement. FAIL R6 - Interior Structure Has the interior of the structure and equipment inside been maintained in good repair, structurally sound, and in a sanitary condition? Foundation walls are leaking and shall be maintained in good condition. Floor in basement has debris and water leaking up through floor. Windows shall be capable of opening and closing. Windows shall be capable of being held in the open position. Window in bathroom is not safety glazed. Kitchen cabinets have holes and holes in floors allow mice to get up to the upper portion of house. Terrible smell coming from basement. Walls in basement stairwell need to be maintained free from cracks and holes. Holes in kitchen cabinets base. Strike plates & hardware need attention on all doors. FAIL R6.C. - Mechanical Eqiupment Are mechanical appliances properly installed and maintained in good working condition? (IPMC 603.1) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Water heater no permits and inspections and missing discharge tube. FAIL R6.D. - Receptacles Every habitable space in a dwelling shall contain not less than two separate and remote receptacle outlets. Every laundry area shall contain not less than one grounding-type receptacle or a receptacle with a GFCI. Every bathroom shall contain not less than one receptacle. Any new bathroom receptacle shall have GFCI protection. All receptacles shall have the appropriate faceplate cover.
