STATUS CODE DESCRIPTION
FAIL 1010.1.9 - Door operations Except as specifically permitted by this section, egress doors shall be readily
openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or
effort.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Dead bolt locks on inside of doors shall be
removed.
FAIL 105.6 - Required operational
permits
The fire code official is authorized to issue operational permits for the operations set
forth in Sections 105.6.1 through 105.6.48.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: No construction permits for walls built in
basement. Construction materials not rated for ground contact.
FAIL 605.1 - Abatement of
electrical hazards
Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions
in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the responsible code official.
Electrical wiring, devices, appliances and other equipment that is modified or
damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Single gang box hanging from ceiling in
basement. Outlet covers needed on all outlets. Romes in basement not stapled per
code requirements.
FAIL R2 - Unsafe Equipment Was the presence of unsafe equipment noted during the inspection? Equipment may
include boilers, heating equipment, elevator, moving stairways, electrical wiring, and
flammable liquid containers. (IPMC 108.1.2)
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Electric issues in basement still not
corrected.
FAIL R4 - Exterior Property Areas Is the exterior property area maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition? This
includes grading and drainage, sidewalks and driveways, weeds, and pest
infestations. (IPMC 302)

sanitary state? (IPMC 304)
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Gutters and downspouts missing on house.
FAIL R6 - Interior Structure Has the interior of the structure and equipment inside been maintained in good
repair, structurally sound, and in a sanitary condition? (IPMC 305)
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Front stairs to front door not to code
requirements. No handrail on stairs. Rise-run not to code. Screen door has not door
shock. Rear screen door will not latch. back door weatherization and missing brick
mold no door. All doors shall have and will need approved hardware. Need floor
molding installed in bathroom. Bath sink needs re-mounted to wall in bathroom.

Were any unsafe conditions noted during the interior inspection?(IPMC 305.1.1)
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Electric issues.
FAIL R6.B. - Residential Heating Are dwellings provided with heating facilities capable of maintaining a room
temperature of 68F? (IPMC 602.2)
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Front room not capable of maintaining 68
degrees.
FAIL R6.C. - Mechanical Eqiupment Are mechanical appliances properly installed and maintained in good working
condition? (IPMC 603.1)
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Water heater missing cover. Refrigerator
needed leveling and is still leaking. Stove is missing burners. Exhaust fan in
bathroom. Dryer does not exhaust to the exterior of the home. Washing machine
needs drain stack.
