Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Bedroom door still has latch lock on door. Lock needs to be removed. Front screen door still does not have shock on door. FAIL 105.6 - Required operational permits The fire code official is authorized to issue operational permits for the operations set forth in Sections 105.6.1 through 105.6.48. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Walls built in basement not rated for ground contact. No permits for walls. FAIL 605.1 - Abatement of electrical hazards Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the responsible code official. Electrical wiring, devices, appliances and other equipment that is modified or damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Single gang box in basement laundry still hanging from ceiling. Globes still needed on all lights. Outlets covers still needed on all outlets. Romex wire and outlets hanging by romex in basement. FAIL R2 - Unsafe Equipment Was the presence of unsafe equipment noted during the inspection? Equipment may include boilers, heating equipment, elevator, moving stairways, electrical wiring, and flammable liquid containers. (IPMC 108.1.2) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Electric issues in basement still not corrected. FAIL R4 - Exterior Property Areas Is the exterior property area maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition? This includes grading and drainage, sidewalks and driveways, weeds, and pest infestations. (IPMC 302) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Printed on 07/24/2020 @ 15:39 Page 1 of 3 STATUS CODE DESCRIPTION FAIL R5 - Exterior Structure Is the exterior of the structure maintained in good repair, structurally sound and sanitary state? (IPMC 304) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Gutters/downspouts missing and need repaired on house. FAIL R6 - Interior Structure Has the interior of the structure and equipment inside been maintained in good repair, structurally sound, and in a sanitary condition? (IPMC 305) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Front stairs to entry door not to code, No handrail on stairs. Rise/run do not meet code. Screen door no shock on door on front door. Rear screen door will not latch. Egress path blocked out rear door. Back door weatherization and missing brick mold on door. All doors interior/exterior need approved door hardware. Need handrails on stairs to landing at rear door. Windows on front room need attention. Windows need to close and open. Need to install tub seal around tub. Need floor molding installed in bathroom. Bath sink still hanging off wall. Sink needs to be secured to wall. All peeling and abraded paint shall be corrected. All stairs need handrails to code. All windows need proper glazing. All door hardware shall be capable of preforming their intended functions. FAIL R6.A. - Interior Structure- Unsafe Conditions Were any unsafe conditions noted during the interior inspection?(IPMC 305.1.1) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Electric issues. FAIL R6.B. - Residential Heating Are dwellings provided with heating facilities capable of maintaining a room temperature of 68F? (IPMC 602.2) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Furnace need to be capable of maintaining 68 degrees. FAIL R6.C. - Mechanical Eqiupment Are mechanical appliances properly installed and maintained in good working condition? (IPMC 603.1) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Refrigerator still not repaired. Leveling feet still not repaired and refrigerator leaks. Stove still not repaired. Stove is missing burners and oven handle. Exhaust fan still not replaced in bathroom. Sump pump needs to drain to the exterior of the house. Sump can not drain to sanitary basement drain.
