Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Interior fire doors do not close and latch and door closures need to be adjusted. FAIL 506.1 - Where required Where access to or within a structure or an area is restricted because of secured openings or where immediate access is necessary for life-saving or fire-fighting purposes, the fire code official is authorized to require a key box to be installed in an approved location. The key box shall be of an approved type listed in accordance with UL 1037, and shall contain keys to gain necessary access as required by the fire code official. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: FAIL 605.1 - Abatement of electrical hazards Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the responsible code official. Electrical wiring, devices, appliances and other equipment that is modified or damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Main entrance to building the light going up to ceiling is missing a cover on fixture on wall. Light to basement from main entrance at bottom of stairs needs to be secured to fixture. Light is hanging from ceiling. In laundry room romex wire needs to be changed. Romex can not be exposed. Need to install EMT conduit from outlet to outlet. Printed on 07/24/2020 @ 14:50 Page 1 of 3 STATUS CODE DESCRIPTION FAIL 703.1 - Maintenance The required fire-resistance rating of fire-resistance-rated construction, including, but not limited to, walls, firestops, shaft enclosures, partitions, smoke barriers, floors, fire-resistive coatings and sprayed fire-resistant materials applied to structural members and fire-resistant joint systems, shall be maintained. Such elements shall be visually inspected by the owner annually and properly repaired, restored or replaced where damaged, altered, breached or penetrated. Records of inspections and repairs shall be maintained. Where concealed, such elements shall not be required to be visually inspected by the owner unless the concealed space is accessible by the removal or movement of a panel, access door, ceiling tile or similar movable entry to the space. Openings made therein for the passage of pipes, electrical conduit, wires, ducts, air transfer openings and holes made for any reason shall be protected with approved methods capable of resisting the passage of smoke and fire. Openings through fire-resistance-rated assemblies shall be protected by self- or automatic-closing doors of approved construction meeting the fire protection requirements for the assembly. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Holes in walls need repaired. FAIL 703.2 - Opening protectives Opening protectives shall be maintained in an operative condition in accordance with NFPA 80. Where allowed by the fire code official, the application of field-applied labels associated with the maintenance of opening protectives shall follow the requirements of the approved third-party certification organization accredited for listing the opening protective. Fire doors and smoke barrier doors shall not be blocked or obstructed, or otherwise made inoperable. Fusible links shall be replaced promptly whenever fused or damaged. Fire door assemblies shall not be modified. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Fire doors need maintenance. FAIL 907.2.11 - Single- and multiple-station smoke alarms Listed single- and multiple- station smoke alarms complying with UL 217 shall be installed in accordance with Sections 907.2.11.1 through 907.2.11.6 and NFPA 72. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Smoke detectors are missing in unit # 208 from inside bedroom and outside of the bedrooms. Smoke detectors in common hallways all need to be in working condition. FAIL R6 - Interior Structure Has the interior of the structure and equipment inside been maintained in good repair, structurally sound, and in a sanitary condition? (IPMC 305) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Bed Bugs in room # 208. Bathroom wall behind toilet needs repaired from water damage in # 208. Sanitary efforts in # 208 need attention. Heater cover on baseboard in bedroom laying on floor in # 208. Door trim to entrance door to # 208 needs repaired. Repair all holes in walls in common areas. FAIL R6.C. - Mechanical Eqiupment Are mechanical appliances properly installed and maintained in good working condition? (IPMC 603.1) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Baseboard covers. Extermination is needed in multiple unit building for all units affected.
