Operable windows where the top of the sill of the opening is located more than 75 feet (22,860 mm)above the finished grade or other surface below and that are provided with window fall prevention devices that comply with ASTM F 2006. 2. Operable windows where the openings will not allow a 4-inch-diameter (102 mm) sphere to pass through the opening when the window is in its largest opened position. 3. Operable windows where the openings are provided with window fall prevention devices that comply with ASTM F 2090. 4. Operable windows that are provided with window opening control devices that comply with Section 1015.8.1. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Unit # 415 bedroom window is broken and needs repaired. FAIL 806.3 - Obstruction of means of egress The required width of any portion of a means of egress shall not be obstructed by decorative vegetation. Natural cut trees shall not be located within an exit, corridor, or a lobby or vestibule. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: Hallways not being cleaned. Garbage in egress paths on 4th Floor. FAIL 9 - Complaint Field Verification Upon visual inspection does situation match the complaints concerns? Fail to indicate that the complaint was found to be valid and use the codes tab to document what violations were noted. If no violations are noted, pass and use the notes section to indicate that no evidence of the complaints concerns were found. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON - Comments: IPMC 504 & 505.4 Water heaters are continually going into a shut down mode. Happening for the last 5 weeks. Every fixture shall be supplied with hot and cold running water in accordance with code. Problems are continuing to exist and not getting corrected. Entire 4th floor apartments are without HOT water. Water heating facilities shall be property installed, maintained and capable of providing an adequate amount of water to be drawn at every required sink, lavatory, bathtub, shower, and laundry facility at a minimum temperature of 110 degrees.
