RESOLUTION NO. 2020-550
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD TO THE BID TO
WOODRUFF CONSTRUCTION, LLC, OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
IN THE AMOUNT OF $105,213.75, AND APPROVING THE
CONTRACT, BONDS, AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE,
IN CONJUNCTION WITH IMPROVEMENTS TO HANGAR
NO. 4, WATERLOO REGIONAL AIRPORT, PROJECT NO. 9-I-
200-ALO-200 IOWA DOT AVIATION BUREAU CONTRACT
NO. 21613, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Woodruff Construction, LLC, of Waterloo, Iowa, submitted a bid in the
amount of $105,213.75, written contract, bond and certificate of insurance per the specifications
heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with Resolution No. 2020-441, after public
hearing on June 15, 2020, in conjunction with Improvements to Hangar No. 4, Waterloo
Regional Airport, Project No. 9-I-200-ALO-200 Iowa DOT Aviation Bureau Contract No.
21613, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Woodruff Construction, LLC, in the amount of $105,213.75, in
conjunction with Improvements to Hangar No. 4, Waterloo Regional Airport, Project No.
9-I-200-ALO-200 Iowa DOT Aviation Bureau Contract No. 21613, is hereby accepted.
2. That the contract, bond and certificate of insurance submitted by Woodruff
Construction, LLC, in the amount of $105,213.75, in conjunction with Improvements to
Hangar No. 4, Waterloo Regional Airport, Project No. 9-I-200-ALO-200 Iowa DOT
Aviation Bureau Contract No. 21613, are hereby approved.
That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of July 2020.
