RESOLUTION NO. 2020-563
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS AUGUST 13, 2020 AND PUBLIC
HEARING AS AUGUST 17, 2020, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE 5 SULLIVAN BROTHERS CONVENTION CENTER
ADDITION AND LOBBY RENOVATION PROJECT, AND
INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with
the 5 Sullivan Brothers Convention Center Addition and Lobby Renovation Project, are hereby
approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the 5 Sullivan Brothers Convention
Center Addition and Lobby Renovation Project, be scheduled for August 13, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.,
City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 17th day of August 2020, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the 5 Sullivan Brothers Convention Center Addition
and Lobby Renovation Project.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
