RESOLUTION NO. 2020-564
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK,
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY K. CUNNINGHAM
CONSTRUCTION CO., INC., OF CEDAR FALLS, IOWA, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $795,555.06, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE FY 2018 ANSBOROUGH AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS
FROM US 20 TO SAN MARNAN DRIVE, CONTRACT NO.
942, AND RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-YEAR
MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, K. Cunningham Construction Co., Inc., of Cedar Falls, Iowa, performed
work in conjunction with the FY 2018 Ansborough Avenue Improvements from US 20 to San
Marnan Drive, Contract No. 942, and
WHEREAS, K. Cunningham Construction Co., Inc., has completed the aforementioned
project, in accordance with the project plans and specifications, at a total cost of $795,555.06.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by K. Cunningham Construction Co., Inc., at a total cost of
$795,555.06, in conjunction with the FY 2018 Ansborough Avenue Improvements from US 20
to San Marnan Drive, Contract No. 942, are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of July 2020.
