RESOLUTION NO. 2020-507
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK,
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY DAVE SCHMITT
CONSTRUCTION CO., INC., OF CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $110,305, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
FY 2019 BROCK 3RD ADDITION SANITARY SEWER
EXTENSION, CONTRACT NO. 986, AND RECEIVE AND FILE
A TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Dave Schmitt Construction Co., Inc., of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, performed
work in conjunction with the FY 2019 Brock 3rd Addition Sanitary Sewer Extension, Contract
No. 986, and
WHEREAS, Dave Schmitt Construction Co., Inc. has completed the aforementioned
project, in accordance with the project plans and specifications, at a total cost of $110,305.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Dave Schmitt Construction Co., Inc., at a total cost of $110,305, in
conjunction with the FY 2019 Brock 3rd Addition Sanitary Sewer Extension, Contract No. 986,
are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of July 2020.
