RESOLUTION NO. 2020-622
RESOLUTION AMENDING THE EXPENDITURE
AUTHORIZATION POLICY BY INCREASING THE
EXPENDITURE PRE -AUTHORIZATION LIMIT FROM $1,000
TO $2,500 FOR ALL PURCHASES.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has established a policy with regards to expenditures of
municipal employees and department heads, and
WHEREAS, said policy requires pre -authorization of council for purchases in excess of
$1,000, and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Expenditure Pre -Authorization Policy for Municipal Employees
and City Department Heads is hereby amended as follows:
Section 1. That the Expenditure Authorization Policy is amended by increasing the
expenditure pre -authorization limit from $1,000 to $2,500 for all purchases.
