RESOLUTION NO. 2020-587
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., RESETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS AUGUST 27, 2020 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS SEPTEMBER 8, 2020, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SERVICES
AT 120 CENTER STREET, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. in conjunction
with abatement services, at 120 Center Street, be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with demolition services, at 120 Center
Street, be scheduled for August 27, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 8th day of September
2020, for the purpose of considering and acting upon abatement services, at 120 Center Street.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of August 2020.
