RESOLUTION RESETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS
AUGUST 27, 2020 AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
SEPTEMBER 8, 2020, FOR ASBESTOS SURVEY SERVICES
AT 915 LINDEN AVENUE, 725 GLENWOOD AVENUE, 123 E.
PARKER STREET, 114 E. 10TH STREET, 105 EAST
11TH STREET, 413 WELLINGTON STREET, 409 WELLINGTON
STREET, 663 KERN STREET, AND 214 COTTAGE
STREET, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. in conjunction
asbestos survey services at 915 Linden Avenue, 725 Glenwood Avenue, 123 E. Parker Street,
114 E. 10th Street, 105 East 11th Street, 413 Wellington Street, 409 Wellington Street, 663 Kern
Street, and 214 Cottage Street, be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with said asbestos survey services, be
scheduled for August 27, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 8th day of September
2020, for the purpose of considering and acting upon asbestos survey services at 915 Linden
Avenue, 725 Glenwood Avenue, 123 E. Parker Street, 114 E. l0th Street, 105 East 1lth Street,
413 Wellington Street, 409 Wellington Street, 663 Kern Street, and 214 Cottage Street.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of August 2020.
