RESOLUTION RESETTING THE DATE OF BID OPENING AS
AUGUST 27, 2020 AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
SEPTEMBER 8, 2020, IN CONJUNCTION WITH ASBESTOS
ABATEMENT SERVICES AT 118 SHILLIAM AVENUE, 179
REBECCA LANE, 514 JOHNSON STREET, 100 E. 9TH
STREET, 1004 FULTON STREET, 1100 SYCAMORE STREET,
2127 E. 4TH STREET (FORMER ST. MARY'S CHURCH AND
SCHOOL), AND 1809 BLACK HAWK STREET, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the bid opening in conjunction with asbestos abatement services at 118
Shilliam Avenue, 179 Rebecca Lane, 514 Johnson Street, 100 E. 9th Street, 1004 Fulton Street,
1100 Sycamore Street, 2127 E. 4th Street (Former St. Mary's Church and School), and 1809
Black Hawk Street, be scheduled for August 27, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 2. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 8th day of September
2020, for the purpose of considering and acting upon asbestos abatement services at 118 Shilliam
Avenue, 179 Rebecca Lane, 514 Johnson Street, 100 E. 9th Street, 1004 Fulton Street, 1100
Sycamore Street, 2127 E. 4th Street (Former St. Mary's Church and School), and 1809 Black
Hawk Street.
Section 3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of August 2020.
