RESOLUTION NO. 2020-607
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO KIDDER
CONSTRUCTION OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $302,574, AND APPROVING THE CONTRACT, BONDS
AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE PUBLIC WORKS TRUCK WASH PROJECT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, Kidder Construction of Waterloo, Iowa, submitted a bid in the amount of
$302,574, in conjunction with the Public Works Truck Wash Project, and is the apparent low
bidder, and
WHEREAS, Kidder Construction submitted a written contract, bond and certificate of
insurance, per the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with
Resolution No. 2020-552, after public hearing on July 20, 2020, in conjunction with the Public
Works Truck Wash Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Kidder Construction, in the amount of $302,574, in conjunction with the
Public Works Truck Wash Project, is hereby awarded to Kidder Construction.
2. That the contract, bond and certificate of insurance submitted by Kidder Construction, in
conjunction with Public Works Truck Wash Project, are hereby approved.
3. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
