RESOLUTION NO. 2007-89
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA REQUESTING BLACK HAWK
COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS CONVEY TO THE
CITY OF WATERLOO CERTAIN PARCELS OF PROPERTY
LOCATED IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK
COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, Black Hawk County has certain parcels of property
they plan to sell at their auction, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, that it is in the best interest of the City
of Waterloo to acquire said certain parcels of property from the
Black Hawk County Board of Supervisors, and
WHEREAS, said certain parcels of property will be utilized
by the City of Waterloo for future or current right-of-way, or
continued ownership of certain areas of land.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS :
1 . That the following described real property is needed
for future or current right-of-way, or continued ownership, and
2 . That the Black Hawk County Board of Supervisors convey
the following described real property to the City of Waterloo:
Parcel #8913-28-176-045
Meadowdale Second Filing part of Lot 63 described as
the North 30 feet of the South 630 feet of the West
130 feet of the East 460 feet of said Lot 63, all in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
Parcel #8913-28-176-046
Meadowdale Second Filing part of Lot 63 described as
the North 30 feet of the South 630 feet of the West
115 feet of the East 330 feet of said Lot 63 except
that part if any condemned for street purposes in Book
442 Page 266, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa;
Parcel #8912-30-477-006
Unplatted Waterloo East all that part of the Southeast
Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 30
Township 89 Range 12 lying within the following
described boundary: Commencing at the point of
intersection of the East line of Fay Street (being 20
feet East of and parallel with the West line of the
Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said
