QUIT CLAIM DEED
For the consideration of One Dollar ($1.00) and other valuable consideration, City of Waterloo, Iowa, does
hereby quit claim to Mark A. Hughes, as Successor Trustee of the Maxine C. Hughes Revocable Trust U/A dated
June 14, 2000, an undivided one-half interest, and to Mark A. Hughes, as Successor Trustee of the Maxwell V.
Hughes Residuary Trust, an undivided one-half interest, all of its right, title, interest, estate, claim, and demand in
the following described real estate in Black Hawk County, Iowa:
The East-West alley in Block 38, Original Plat of Waterloo West, in the City of Waterloo,. Black Hawk
County, Iowa.
Subject to (a) easements, servitudes, conditions, and restrictions of record; (b) general utility and
right-of-way easements serving the property; and (c) restrictions imposed by local zoning ordinances and
other applicable law.
Deed from Iowa political subdivision. Exempt from real estate transfer tax, declaration of value and
groundwater hazard statement.
Conveyance approved by Resolution No. 2020-578 adopted August 3, 2020.
Words and phrases herein, including acknowledgment hereof, shall be construed as in the singular or plural
number, and as masculine or feminine gender, according to the context.
