RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE
CITY/STATE FUNDING AGREEMENT, INCREASING FUNDS
FROM $1,080,000 TO $1,480,000, FOR FEDERAL -AID SWAP
FUNDING, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2021 LAPORTE
ROAD/HESS ROAD IMPROVEMENTS, PHASE I, CONTRACT
NO. 1016, AS PART OF THE DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION'S SURFACE TRANSPORTATION
BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
that the City/State Funding Agreement originally executed May 4, 2020, between the Iowa
Department of Transportation and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, increasing funds from $1,080,000
to $1,480,000, for Federal -Aid Swap Funding, in conjunction with the FY 2021 LaPorte
Road/Hess Road Improvements, Phase I, Contract No. 1016, as part of the Department of
Transportation's Surface Transportation Block Grant Program, is hereby approved and the Mayor
is authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
