RESOLUTION NO. 2020-681
RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID TO CEDAR VALLEY
CORP., LLC, OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$4,116,725, APPROVING CONTRACT, BOND AND
CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
WATERLOO REGIONAL AIRPORT PROJECTS ASSOCIATED
WITH FAA GRANT NO. 3-19-0094-046-2020, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Cedar Valley Corp., LLC, of Waterloo, Iowa, submitted a bid in the amount
of $4,116,725, and is the apparent low bidder, in conjunction with the Waterloo Regional Airport
projects associated with FAA Grant No. 3-19-0094-046-2020, and
WHEREAS, Cedar Valley Corp., LLC submitted a written contract, bond and certificate
of insurance, per city specifications, in conjunction with the Waterloo Regional Airport projects
associated with FAA Grant No. 3-19-0094-046-2020.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Cedar Valley Corp., LLC, in the amount of $4,116,725, in
conjunction with the Waterloo Regional Airport projects associated with FAA Grant No. 3-19-
0094-046-2020, is hereby awarded.
2. That the contract, bond and certificate of insurance submitted by Cedar Valley
Corp., LLC, in conjunction with the Waterloo Regional Airport projects associated with FAA
Grant No. 3-19-0094-046-2020, are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of September 2020.
