RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
SEPTEMBER 21, 2020 TO APPROVE A REQUEST BY
PETERS CONSTRUCTION FOR A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT
IN THE "C-2, C-Z" COMMERCIAL CONDITIONAL ZONING
DISTRICT FOR A NEW FUNERAL HOME AND
CREMATORIUM IN THE EXISTING BUILDING, PLUS A
10,175 SQUARE -FOOT ADDITION LOCATED AT 4140
KIMBALL AVENUE, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 21st day of September
2020, to approve a request by Peters Construction for a Site Plan Amendment in the "C-2, C-Z"
Commercial Conditional Zoning District for a new funeral home and crematorium in the
existing building, plus a 10,175 square -foot addition located at 4140 Kimball Avenue.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of September 2020.
