RESOLUTION NO. 2020-663
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH
ASBESTOS SURVEY SERVICES FOR PROPERTIES
LOCATED AT 915 LINDEN AVENUE, 725 GLENWOOD
AVENUE, 123 E. PARKER STREET, 114 E. 10TH STREET, 105
E. 11TH STREET, 413 WELLINGTON STREET, 409
WELLINGTON STREET, 663 KERN STREET, AND 214
COTTAGE STREET.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
Community Planning and Development Director of said City to prepare and file plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with asbestos survey services, for properties
located at 915 Linden Avenue, 725 Glenwood Avenue, 123 E. Parker Street, 114 E. l0th Street,
105 E. llth Street, 413 Wellington Street, 409 Wellington Street, 663 Kern Street, and 214
Cottage Street, and
WHEREAS, said Community Planning and Development Director did file said plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with asbestos survey services, for properties
located at 915 Linden Avenue, 725 Glenwood Avenue, 123 E. Parker Street, 114 E. l0th Street,
105 E. llth Street, 413 Wellington Street, 409 Wellington Street, 663 Kern Street, and 214
Cottage Street, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on September 8, 2020.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion
by this Council that said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with asbestos
survey services, for properties located at 915 Linden Avenue, 725 Glenwood Avenue, 123 E.
Parker Street, 114 E. l0th Street, 105 E. 1 lth Street, 413 Wellington Street, 409 Wellington
Street, 663 Kern Street, and 214 Cottage Street, are hereby approved, and said project proceed in
accordance with said specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of September 2020.
