RESOLUTION NO. 2020-670
RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT NO. D-2020-08-1P, TO
SCHRADER EXCAVATING & GRADING, OF WALFORD, IOWA, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $129,900, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
DEMOLITION SERVICES AT 120 CENTER STREET, APPROVING
THE CONTRACT, BOND, AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Schrader Excavating & Grading, of Walford, Iowa, submitted a bid in
conjunction with demolition services at 120 Street, in the amount of $129,900, and is the
apparent low bidder.
WHEREAS, Schrader Excavating & Grading submitted a written contract, bond and
certificate of insurance, per city specifications, in conjunction with said demolition services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the bid of Schrader Excavating & Grading, in the amount of $129,900, in
conjunction with demolition services at 120 Center Street, is hereby accepted and awarded to
Schrader Excavating & Grading.
2. That the contract, bond and certificate of insurance submitted by Schrader Excavating &
Grading, in the amount of $129,900, in conjunction with demolition services at 120 Center
Street, are hereby approved, and the Mayor and City clerk are authorized and directed to execute
said documents.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of September 2020.
