RESOLUTION NO. 2020-671
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
FIVE SULLIVAN BROTHERS CONVENTION CENTER
ADDITION AND LOBBY RENOVATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
Community Planning and Development Director of said City to prepare and file plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention
Center Addition and Lobby Renovation, and
WHEREAS, said Community Planning and Development Director did file said plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with said Five Sullivan Brothers Convention
Center Addition and Lobby Renovation, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on September 8, 2020.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion
by this Council that said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the
Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center Addition and Lobby Renovation, are hereby approved,
and said project proceed in accordance with said specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of September 2020.
