support the Constitution of the United States, and that of
the State of Iowa, and that, without fear, favor, affection
or hope of reward, I will, to the best of knowledge and
ability, as Judge of the Municipal Court of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, administer justice according to the law,
equally to the rich and the poor .
Subscribed in my presence and sworn to before me
by the said Ben G. Howrey on the 2nd day of April, 1936.
