RESOLUTION NO. 2020-710
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ETC., IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE RENTAL
OF ONE (1) AND/OR TWO (2) MOTOR GRADERS TO
SUPPORT SNOW REMOVAL OPERATIONS, SETTING DATE
OF BID OPENING AS OCTOBER 8, 2020 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS OCTOBER 12, 2020, AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID
NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, bid documents, form of contract,
etc., in conjunction with the rental of one (1) and/or two (2) motor graders to support snow
removal operations, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the rental of one (1) and/or two (2)
motor graders to support snow removal operations, be scheduled for October 8, 2020 at 1:00
p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 12th day of October 2020, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the rental of one (1) and/or two (2) motor graders to
support snow removal operations.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
