AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5079, AS
AMENDED, CITY OF WATERLOO ZONING ORDINANCE,
BY AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP REFERRED
TO IN SECTION 10-4-4, TO APPROVE A REQUEST BY
PETERS CONSTRUCTION, CORP., FOR A SITE PLAN
AMENDMENT TO THE "C-2, C-Z" COMMERCIAL
CONDITIONAL ZONING DISTRICT, FOR A NEW FUNERAL
HOME AND CREMATORIUM IN THE EXISTING BUILDING,
PLUS A 10,175 SQUARE -FOOT ADDITION LOCATED AT
4140 KIMBALL AVENUE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the request by Peters Construction Corporation, for a Site Plan
Amendment to the "C-2, C-Z" Commercial Conditional Zoning District, for a new funeral home
and crematorium in the existing building, plus a 10,175 square -foot addition located at 4140
Kimball Avenue, and legally described as follows:
TOWER PARK NO 3 LOT 1
shall be and is hereby approved.

PASSED 1st CONSIDERATION: September 21, 2020
PASSED 2nd CONSIDERATION: September 21, 2020
PASSED 3rd CONSIDERATION: September 21, 2020
